How Much Will It Cost Me To Join OSP?
Nothing! And this is no joke. Oh So Pretty is a free hosted forum, which is why I CANNOT charge membership. Even if it wasn't, why would I? I want to share experiences with every Pretty Ricky fan and for that it would be so wrong to charge membership.

How Old Do I Have To Be To Join OSP?ProBoards (our host site) has set some guidelines (Please read the Proboards T.O.S.) with infants under the age of 13 registering on their forums. So under their guidelines I can only accept registration from persons 13 (with parental consent) and older. Otherwise, there is no age limit.

Do I Have To Have Prior Knowledge of HTML & BBC To Become Part of The OSP Staff? For staff positions of co-admin and Gmod, yes you need to know both HTML & BBC since you will be working with the forums coding or at least learning to work with codes. First things first, I'd like all prospects to thoroughly know UBBC/BBC. BBC is an acronym for Bulletin Board Code. Hence this is a bulletin board there's a special language to better serve the purpose of the bulletin board much like MS word & many word processors. You have Italics: Italics Bold: Bold Underline: Underline & many more fun and artistic ways to post on bulletin boards. Proboards makes things easier when you post since they have supplied buttons that will add one of those effects to text when you click it. However, I'd like my staff to know it when using signatures or the news fader (which actually takes HTML). Those buttons are as follows: - For BOLD TEXT
- For Italicized Text
- For UNDERLINED TEXT
- For
STRIKING THROUGH TEXT
HTML should be known by everyone who is inquiring co-admin positions on the forum. However, any MODERATORS inquiring should be able to understand and know primarily BBC.

I Registered But Never Received An Activation Code, What Do I Do?
Most likely you registered with an email account which adds new addresses to the SPAM box. For instance, AOL has some type of immediate filter for certain types of mail sent to an account. Which means the mail never reaches your inbox; but it goes straight to the spam box. So its advised that you check your spam box.
If you send me a message or email asking me to give it to you, I'm telling you now I can't. I have no control over actual activation codes. They are sent from ProBoards. So what I can tell you to do now is to just replace the old email with a new one when you go to activate it and click activate now. This time the new code will be sent to your new address given.

What Are Skins?
Skins are just different templates or layouts on the forum for you all to choose from. Usually a color scheme or different banner.
You can choose your skin from the skin selector in your profile. If you don't see one, its because there is only one skin on the forum currently.

How Do I Get A Customized User Group?
Well to obtain a customized user group you have to be recommended to get one. Meaning you have to have done something noble or win a contest to get one as a prize.
Right now, staff members are able to give themselves a customized user group only.

What Is The Too Many Connections Page About? For those who experience the Too Many Connections error page. Too Many Connections, also known as TMC, is caused when a server becomes a little overloaded. It's nothing bad; just the server trying to protect itself against a crash. When this happens, please do not keep refreshing your page, as this adds additional stress to the server, and forces the TMC page to keep displaying. So when you are experiencing the TMC page, please just close the window and try again later. If you were posting something, I'd suggest you type it up in NOTEPAD and save it until the issue with the forum server is cleared
