Florida's band of brothers Pretty Ricky have made a serious impact on R&B and the hip-hop charts this year with their sophomore album Late Night Special, but their success has been marred with rumors of turbulence within the group.
In this SOHH exclusive Baby Blue and Pleasure P address the rumors and also share some news about their latest venture outside of music.
It seems the rumor mill has got it all wrong, because the group is still together, happily enjoying their climb to the top of the charts.
"First of all, let's clear up all the rumors. No, your boys ain't gon' break up. It ain't gon happen," Baby Blue told SOHH. "All y'all record labels out there trying to put your new groups out, stop lying on Pretty Ricky, baby, 'cause we the number one group in the country, got the number one album in the country, Late Night Special. The ladies love Pretty Ricky."
Now that Pretty Ricky has their musical foundation laid down, the group is beginning to expand into other areas - specifically fashion. The group revealed plans to unveil designs for their women's underwear line called Pretty.
"The Pretty clothing line, it's an exclusive clothing line by the boys Pretty Ricky and it consists of the boy shorts, lingerie, just everything to make a lady feel sexy before she go to bed," Pleasure P explained.
"The Pretty clothing is just gonna enhance the inner beauty. It ain't about the booty, it's the inner beauty, baby," Baby Blue added.
Since releasing Late Night Special on January 23 the freaky foursome has been basking in the spotlight, in large part due to the success of their first single, "Hotline."
